Problem Solving

We are Learning to solve maths problems.

Twelve cats are in a tree and 8 jump down. How many are left?

  1. Hi Leatham I think the answer is 3 because 12-8=3
    from your classmate jonathan

  2. Hi Leathem,

What a good problem to solve! Jonathan was so close to solving your maths problem.
    There are 4 cats left.

If 12 cats are in the tree and 8 jump down, then 4 cats are left.
    12 - 8 = 4
